Our Mission of Service Since 1999

The company was founded in 1999 in Portland, ME by Bethany Lawrence, R.N., who struggled to find quality home care during her mother’s long illness. She realized that other Maine and New Hampshire families faced the same dilemma and founded Aging Excellence to improve the lives of seniors and their families. Bethany, company C.E.O., manages the Portsmouth Office. She continues to set the same high standards of care established in 1999.

One hour minimum per visit. No weekly minimum charge.

Unlike many agencies, we require no minimum number of visits per week or month. We’ll tailor a care plan to your needs and budget.
