Founder Profile
Bethany Lawrence RN, BSN CMC, founder and President of Aging Excellence is active in daily operations. An entrepreneur at heart, Beth is a former Regional Clinical Director/Administrator for a Medicare Certified Home Health company that operated throughout the State of Maine. Personal experience with her own family and professional assessment of many home health clients made Beth aware of the virtual lack of non-medical services and activities that would allow individuals to maintain their independence and enhance the quality of life during times of illness and throughout the aging process. As her mother entered the final stages of cancer in 1999, Beth could not find a company that offered non-medical services to help support her mother and family in a thoughtful and comprehensive manner. Months later, she created one. Bethany franchised the business in 2003. Aging Excellence currently has eight offices providing services throughout the state of Maine and New Hampshire and is in the process of expanding throughout the country.
